Driving Range going to Mats
Beginning on Monday, October 7th we will be going to MATS ONLY on the Driving Range. As the days get shorter and the night time temperatures are getting cooler the turf on the driving range is seeing slower growth. Because of this the turf cannot recover from all of the use it receives. We will be closing the grass tee to give our maintenance team the opportunity to give the tee some much needed attention and to give the grass a chance to grow in before winter. This will give us better conditions next spring when we re-open the grass tee.
Thanks to the renovation we did last fall, we have an excellent mat system from Turfhound. This artificial surface is far superior to the typical mat system that most facilities use. Be sure to give them a try!
